Tough As They Come byTravis Mills

I first heard Travis Mills speak on the Glenn Beck program. After hearing his passion, I had to order his book for my Kindle. I drive for a living and read a lot. Attitudes and drive like his is what makes America great. I highly recommend this book and encourage people to donate to the Travis Mills Foundation. Freedom is not Free. God Bless America.

Tune In (The Beatles: All These Years #1) by Mark Lewisohn

I've read a bunch of Beatles books over the years, and some have been better than others (although I'm far from an expert and don't remember a lot of the facts in which Beatles trivia fans delight). But this book by Mark Lewisohn, Tune In -- the first of a projected three-book project -- is riveting for someone who has been a Beatles fan since I was a 12-year-old girl in early 1964. Again and again I learned stuff I'd never heard before. But all those facts are presented with intelligence and understanding, adding up to a larger picture I knew little of and one that I find fascinating. I am eagerly awaiting Lewisohn's next Beatles book (and now I'm going to go listen to "Love Me Do").
